It's Called Writing, Idiot.

So I briefly thought I had an amazing idea for an invention tonight.  I was thinking to myself  "Wouldn't it be awesome if there was some sort of magical device that recorded your thoughts and then you could return to the ones that were actually interesting?"  Then I remembered that's what writing stuff down is for.

A Brief Tribute to the Makers of Generic Products.

Have you ever seen those plain white bags at the grocery store with the big black letters that just say "Potato Chips"?  Or the plain white cans that say "Beer"?  Somebody made those.  Like actually set down on the path to become a brewer or a potato chip maker.  They put their entire effort into becoming a craftsman in the potato chip industry only to have their product dismissed as "generic".  Like nobody was even willing to put their name on it.  It's kind of sad really.  I suppose as a sign of solidarity I should change the name of this here blog to BLOG.  

Nah, I'm not going to do that.  But I had the best of intentions.
